#Doc20 / 20 Y.O.

Another year, another birthday.

Today, I turn 20 years old. Gone are the teenage years and now on to adulthood for real now (and no more 17-18 discounts lol).

For the past couple of weeks, I've been on a strong 90s high being that I was born at the very beginning of that decade (1990 to be exact). Everything about the 90s were so damn fresh, from the fashion, the shows, the movies, and most importantly, the music! Looking back to the past made feel a little old since I am 20 now.

I've always been a mature young man, but the thought of feeling old also came from the many things I have accomplished and the things I'm still going after. I've been through many changes in the past 20 years. From being the quiet chubby kid to a designer, an online radio show host & blogger that people are fans of and check out on a daily, I'm blessed and humbled by all of the learning experiences I've gone through to achieve a greater goal down the road.

Where do I see myself in the next 20 years when I turn 40? Get ready for this list lol:

- Successful graphic design and advertising firm in NYC
- Married with at least three kids
- working for Sony Music as possibly the president of the company and founder/CEO of my own imprint DOC Entertainment
- artskool by DOC being a successful clothing line
- THE DOC REPORT being one of the biggest blogs EVER!!!
- FNL Radio being a big deal on satellite radio (we're too live for FM lol)
- Opening youth centers for art/design, music, dance, technology, and entertainment business in Philly, Baltimore, DC, NYC, VA Beach, and some other places I got on my list lol.
- Living in NYC (Manhattan) or Willow Grove

So as you can see, the reason I work so hard is to continue this grind of making it to bigger and better things down the road. And I guarantee, these things WILL happen!

I'm not gonna preach to y'all lol, but thanks so much for all of the B-day love!

Mr. Oizo x Pharrell: "Where's The Money, George?"

A new short film by French music and movie producer Mr. Oizo. This surreal video, which also features Pharrell Williams, is supposedly a clip from a longer movie that “will probably never exist” according to Mr. Oizo himself. I'm actually diggin' this little 2-minute clip. If not a movie at least an online web series. Looks very promising!

WELCOME BACK (PART DEUX)

Okay people, I'M BAAAAAACK!!! LOL

Back in November, I decided to take some first steps in creating my new line art skool by DOC. I launched the blog then, with only one post explaining the whole situation.

Now on April 2nd, which is my 20th birthday, I'm re-launching the site! I've been designing and coming up with great concepts and pieces for art skool. For now, it will be a t-shirt line that will really connect with people in my age range. But, within the next year there will be accessories, jeans, jackets, etc. bearing the art skool name.

So on this site, I'll be showing samples of the things to come in a few months and also show off the official look book Memorial Day weekend! Not only that, but the other main focus of this blog is to be a lifestyle guide from a young person's point of view. With this blog, you'll get my new favorite music, movies, clothing lines, directors, photographers, crazy art...whatever is on my mind at the time. I'll also get personal with y'all on some days to get a better feel of who I am and get into the mind of a college student that's a blogger, online radio show host, designer, graphic designer, writer, son, brother...all that good stuff lol.

So from this day forward, art skool will be updated everyday.

Welcome to art skool!

WELCOME!

Welcome everyone! This is a new blog by the name of art skool. This new blog is another way for you all to get a glimpse into the life of a young college student/entrepreneur and how I still manage to keep an active social life while pursuing my life goals. Another thing you'll get with this blog is me listing my new favorite music, movies, clothing lines, directors, photographers, crazy art...whatever is on my mind at the time.

If you're keeping count, art skool is my third blog, but this time its more focused on the young man that is DOC. My first site is the entertainment/music news site THE DOC REPORT and the second is the crazy foolish site WHAT KIND OF FOOLISHNESS. I also have a YouTube channel by the name of DOC TV.

art skool is also the name of a special project I have coming up real soon. I'll reveal that news sometime this weekend or next week.
